When will you be open for guests?

Having only recently purchased the land, we’re very much in the planning phase and haven’t yet begun construction of the hotel. Creating a project of this scale requires time and we’re currently putting together a full project plan. We don’t envisage opening until 2026 but if you sign up to our mailing list, you’ll be the first to know when we do.

What’s the plan?

Many leaders and entrepreneurs including Bill Gates take ‘think weeks’: a personal seven-day retreat giving them time away to read, think and focus without distractions. We are building an off-grid coastal retreat to help you rest, reset and recharge in silence. The perfect environment for you to create your own think week with the freedom to do whatever you want with your time - whether that’s reading, writing, walking or doing absolutely nothing.

It’s not vipassana and there’s no set programme - just space to experience silence & stillness. We’ll provide accommodation, an on-site dining area, spa facilities, workshops, an outdoor gym and gardens spread across 100 acres. With a large focus on sustainability, the off-grid retreat will be designed to integrate with the natural landscape using circular construction methods leaving no ecological footprint.

Why now?

We’re facing a burnout epidemic where now more than ever before, there’s a longing for tranquility and mindful experiences away from the overstimulation of technology and everyday life. We’ll encourage guests to digitally detox for the duration of their stay and spend time nestled in nature to fully recharge.

Why did you choose Portugal?

We spent a lot of time looking across Europe for the perfect location. After touring stunning plots in Italy, Greece, Spain and several other countries, we found our ideal place. Our secluded beachfront plot is nestled in nature, providing the tranquility and peace essential for what we’re creating, while still being easily accessible for our visitors. This rare balance of seclusion and convenience made Portugal the perfect choice for our retreat.
